Licensing and Certification Renewal Process Changes

The Division of Child Care (DCC), Division of Regulated Child Care (DRCC) and Child Care Aware (CCA) are happy to announce a positive change to the renewal process. Beginning July 1, please submit all renewal applications directly to the Division of Regulated Child Care at the address listed on the renewal application. A blank application will be sent to providers via email from DRCC beginning 90 days prior to the license or certificate expiration date and is also available on the DRCC website. DRCC will review all submitted applications to ensure each is complete and correct, and will reach out to you with any corrections or questions prior to renewal. It is the desire of DCC, DRCC and CCA to streamline the renewal process for Kentucky child-care providers. Please contact DRCC at (502) 564-7962 with any questions.
