From 2005-2017, without exception, prices for child care Licensed Type I and Type II are higher than for Certified Home providers for all age categories at the 75th percentile. Within providers, prices decrease as children age: daily prices for the Infant/Toddler (I/T) age group are greater than for Preschoolers (PS) and School Age (SA) children. The market price also increased for full-time and parttime care in all provider types between 2015 and 2017
