EARLY CHILDHOOD WORKFORCE SURVEY 2019

All child care providers who are registered in ECE-TRIS were invited to participate in this important Early Childhood Workforce Survey by email. Many providers have reported not receiving the original email. Below is the information from the letter that you should have received.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Kentucky is conducting a survey to examine the early care and education workforce. This survey asks questions about your background, experience, education, professional development, wages, and benefits. We will also examine your professional development, specifically, the total number of hours of training you received over the last year and in what content areas. (If you are a director, there will be questions about your employees.) Your input is very valuable. By responding to the survey, you will be helping advocate for improved wages, benefits, and resources for the early care and education workforce in Kentucky! We will also compare the early child care workforce across the state in many settings including child care centers and homes, and pre-kindergarten programs.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. The survey should take 15 to 30 minutes to complete and it will make a significant difference in the lives of families and children and the level of support available to Kentucky providers and teachers caring for our children. Please return the survey by April 12, 2019. If you choose to participate in this survey, you may enter a drawing among other invited 4,800 participants to receive one of five $100 gift cards.

If you have any questions about the Kentucky Workforce Survey, or how to complete the form, please contact Child Care Aware at
